This Privacy Notice for Canada residents (“Canada Privacy Notice”) supplements the information contained in the Data Privacy Policy of WhiteCrow Research Private Limited (“WhiteCrow / We / Our”) displayed on the website ‘www.webbtree.com’ (“Website”). WhiteCrow has prepared this Notice to the Data Privacy Policy to comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (“PIPEDA”).

This Canada Privacy Notice applies to: (i) the PII submitted to and collected by WhiteCrow / Website, through the use of the Services by the subscribers of the Website, i.e., the Employer and Employer Representatives, who are residing in Canada; and (ii) the PII collected by the Website about the Actual Candidates and Potential Candidates who are residing in Canada. The Employer, Employer Representatives, Actual Candidates and the Potential Candidates shall hereinafter be collectively referred to as “You”/ “Your”/ “Yourself”.

The Website has integrated with WhiteCrow’s talent portal ‘talent.whitecrow.co’ (“Talent Portal”) for effectively providing the Services to the Employer, Employer Representatives, wherein We receive PII (defined below) about Actual Candidates, residing in Canada, who access or sign in on Talent Portal with the intent to seek job opportunities. If you are an Actual Candidate residing in Canada then you may exercise your rights including accessing/correcting or deleting your PII (defined below) as per the data privacy policy available on www.whitecrow.co.

It is to be noted that, as this Canada Privacy Notice supplements the Data Privacy Policy / Agreement. The capitalized terms unless defined herein, shall have the same meaning assigned to them in the Terms and Conditions and the Data Privacy Policy.

  1. PERSONAL IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION

    Personal Information means information that, others can use to identify, locate or contact You, including but not limited to, Your name, email address, postal address and phone numbers, except to the extent such information is procured from publicly available sources as provided under PIPEDA (“Personally Identifiable Information” or “PII”).

    We have appointed a Chief Privacy Officer to oversee compliance of the Website with applicable data protection laws and with this privacy notice.   3. COLLECTION, USE, DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION

    The Data Privacy Policy provided details about what, why and how we collect, use and disclose Your PII. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary stated in the Data Privacy Policy, the Website does not collect, use or disclose Your PII without Your consent. To the extent we collect Your PII from Data Brokers, we have entered into appropriate contracts with Data Brokers who have represented to us that they are compliant with PIPEDA and have collected Your PII with Your consent. You may withdraw your consent by contacting Our Chief Privacy Officer.

  5. DATA SECURITY

    We take Your privacy seriously and have appropriate measures in place to protect Your PII available with the Website. Additionally, we shall report to the Commissioner, appointed under PIPEDA, and shall notify You of any breach of security safeguards involving Your PII under Our control if it is reasonable in the circumstances to believe that the breach creates a real risk of significant harm to You.

  6. CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY NOTICE

    WhiteCrow, through the Website reserves the right to amend this Canada Privacy Notice at Our discretion and at any time. When WhiteCrow through the Website makes changes to this Canada Privacy Notice, We will notify You of such change by posting it on the Website and shall indicate the date of the last revision.
